The Journey Academy helps students registered as homeschoolers and students whose parents want an education focused solely on supporting the learning style and needs of their children.

With a mix of face-to-face instruction, online support, and enrichment opportunities, our microschool provides a personalized, flexible, and engaging learning environment.

Microschool Founder

My name is Dr. Jacobs, and I am honored to be the founder of The Journey Academy. I am passionate about education and dedicated to creating a learning environment where every child can thrive. With more than 30 years of experience in education, I have served in many roles, including principal, assistant principal, 504 Coordinator, department chair, and teacher evaluator. My experience has given me a deep understanding of what students need to succeed, and I am committed to building a school community that supports both students and families. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to create an amazing school experience for your children!
