At Ember Academy, our day begins with a whole group reading of a classic novel, setting the theme for the month and inspiring students’ learning. Throughout the month, students engage in thematic discovery, pursuing activities that develop critical thinking, problem-solving, vocabulary, and metacognition.
Students attend small group language arts and mathematics lessons based on their individual needs. Concepts of botany, horticulture, physical fitness, and mindfulness are seamlessly integrated with outdoor play.
